No excuses

I started a new blog aiming to write more about my work, design, and project management in a thoughtful way, not posting tutorials or design news, but thoughts on our line of work and the day to day of our industry. I've had other blogs but they were always general, sometimes writing about myself, mixed with design, sometimes basketball, politics and a long list of etceteras. This time I don't want to force myself to write, I don't even care about how many visitors I have, just writing whenever I want and feel like I can share something valuable.

I wanted the blog to be as minimal as possible, with no widgets, no add-ons, no nothing. Just text, good typography, clean layout. I love Adobe Caslon Pro. It's one of the classic serifs, but at the same time practical and readable like few. It's the right choice for long texts and perfect for the goal of the blog. I'm using Typekit to serve it.
